INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Paper: any paper and paperboard are recyclable. Exceptions: greasy and dirty paper; paper mixed with other materials (laminated paper, foil lined packages-tetra pack, cookies paper, etc.). You must reduce the volume of every packaging: open and fold every big paper or cardboard box.
Glass: any glass can be recycled. Exceptions: flat glass(windows, mirrors, china cabinet etc.); armoured glass, unbreakable glass and Pyrex ( oven-proof dish).
Plastic: anything that -at the moment of the buying- is supposed to contain something can be recycled ( for example: bottles, phial, tray, small pot ); every plastic bag, envelope and plastic wrap can be recycled. Anything else cannot be recycled.
For example: plastic glasses, do they contain anything at the moment of the buying? No! Therefore they cannot be recycled. The envelope of the plastic glasses, does it contain anything at the moment of the buying? Yes, it contains the plastic glasses! Therefore it can be recycled.
You must reduce the volume of every packing: open and fold every bottle.
Metal: it has the same rules as for the plastic. Anything that -at the moment of the buying- is supposed to contain something can be recycled ( for example: tray, wrap, can , small pot, etc.) and every aluminium foil(use & throwaway). Anything else cannot be recycled.
For example: a pan, a pot, or a frying pan, do they contain anything at the moment of the buying? No! Therefore they cannot be put in the metal waste containers. A tuna can , does it contain anything at the moment of the buying? Yes, it contains the tuna, therefore it can be recycled.
Organic: discarded food waste, used or wet paper napkin and handkerchief (must not be wetted with chemical substance), garden waste (small amount of flowers and leaves), toothpick, cork, ice-cream stick must be put in the brown container.
For the organic waste please use the Mater-Bibiodegradable envelope only.
Anything else must be collected in the grey container.
The waste that cannot be put in the containers must be sorted and disposed of in an ecological station or through the free pick up service from your domicile ( 0732.251126 ).
No waste must be abandoned outside the containers, not even in the ecological station.
Waste bin maintenance: the waste bin given to each non domestic organization, condominium, or private, are under the responsibility of the organization itself; the organization has to keep the bin clean and in good conditions. The company due to the collection of the waste has no clean service, for the washing of the bin please use cleaning fluid that are not dangerous for the security of the citizens and the refuse collectors .
The bin must be kept inside your property and must be displayed only when the waste is to be collected, as indicated in the calendar.
